KMP Honda Racing takes on the deep sand – Three top-10 finishes at the ADAC MX Masters in Tensfeld

Round six of the ADAC MX Masters took the KMP Honda Racing Team to Tensfeld in northern Germany – known for its deep, demanding sand and physically punishing track conditions. Despite injuries and challenging circumstances, the team riders showed strong unity and determination, securing *three top-10 finishes in the premier MX Masters class*.

*Jordi Tixier, who had already made his comeback from injury last weekend in Bielstein, faced Tensfeld with minimal sand preparation. Nonetheless, the former MX2 World Champion delivered a smart and steady performance. With three clean, consistent motos, Tixier finished **9th overall*.

“I knew Tensfeld would be tough – I had barely any time on the bike in the sand. But I stayed focused and rode mistake-free. Of course, P9 is not where we want to be, but after the injury, I’m grateful to be back in the mix. Now I’m looking forward to Gaildorf – hard pack is where I feel at home.”

*Cornelius Tøndel* once again showed his fighting spirit. After being involved in first-turn crashes in both opening races, he worked his way back through the field. In the third moto, he charged from the back to claim an impressive *6th place*, securing the team’s second-best result of the weekend.

“I had two good starts, but got caught up in crashes right after the gate. In the third race, I stayed focused and pushed to the end – made another pass on the last lap. Still not where I want to be, but it’s a step in the right direction.”

*Victor Alonso* wasn’t even sure he’d be able to race due to a training injury earlier in the week – but he stunned the field and the team with a fantastic performance. After coming back from a bad start to finish 10th in Saturday’s moto, he pushed through on Sunday to score a superb *5th place in the first moto, the **team’s best single result* in Tensfeld.

“I honestly didn’t think I’d even be able to race – so to get a fifth place in the sand is just amazing! I was inside the top 10 again in race two but ran out of energy near the end. Still, a great weekend overall. Huge thanks to the whole team!”

*Jakub Teresak* got off to decent starts in all races, but struggled more and more with his injured hand. After finishing 14th and 16th in the first two motos, he was forced to retire early in the final race.

“I really wanted to push through, but it became too risky. The pain was getting worse and I didn’t feel safe continuing. Time to rest, heal up, and come back stronger.”

*Manuel Carreras* showed his commitment and drive, even if the results weren’t quite where he wanted them to be:

“I prepared as best I could, but it wasn’t enough this time. I’m heading back to Lommel to keep working. Big thanks to the team for standing behind me every weekend – I know my moment will come.”

*Pasquale di Monaco* put in a promising performance in moto two, where he was running inside the top 10 before a mechanical issue forced him to retire just a few laps from the finish.

“I was sitting in P9 and feeling great, but then the bike had a problem. Still, a solid weekend overall – I’m taking away a lot of positives.”

*Marius Adomaitis* also battled through the brutal conditions, despite tough starts and a crash in race two:

“It was a really difficult weekend for me, but I gave it everything I had in the final moto. Thanks to the team for continuing to believe in me even when the results aren’t there yet.”

*Team Manager Alexander Karg* summed up the weekend with a positive outlook:

“Tensfeld was one of the toughest events of the season for our entire team – physically, technically, and mentally. But with three riders finishing inside the top 10 of the MX Masters class, we once again proved the strength and depth of our squad. I’m proud of how every rider kept fighting through adversity. Now we’re turning our focus to Gaildorf – where we want to take another step toward the podium.”
