Gaildorf, August 11, 2025 – The KMP Honda Racing Team wrapped up an eventful weekend at the ADAC MX Masters in Gaildorf. With a great crowd and sweltering summer temperatures, the team showed strong performances across the board, battling through highs and lows while collecting valuable points and insights.
Leading the charge was Jordi Tixier in the premier class. The Frenchman delivered a top-tier performance, narrowly missing out on the overall win by just a single point. Setting the fastest time in qualifying and the quickest laps in both Moto 1 and Moto 3, Tixier proved his speed on the demanding Gaildorf circuit.
“It’s a shame to miss the overall win by such a small margin – but overall, we showed that we’re the fastest out there. Three good starts, strong pace, even though we weren’t riding at 100%. We’ll keep working to get back to the top step of the podium. Thanks to the team – and I loved our beer-shot podium moment!”
Jakub Teresak had a tough start to the weekend but found a better rhythm after some bike setup adjustments ahead of the final moto:
“In the first two motos, I just couldn’t find my rhythm and ended up battling more with myself than with the others. For the third race, we made some changes to the bike, and finally it felt right – I finished P9. It’s still not the result we’re aiming for, but now we know what was wrong.”
It was a weekend to forget for Edvards Bidzans, who is still struggling with fitness following an injury in Bielstein:
“The speed in qualifying was okay, but I just didn’t feel comfortable. I really suffered in the races because of the heat and my lack of fitness. I know what needs to improve, and I’ll give it my all to end the season on a better note.”
Manuel Carreras had high hopes for the hard-pack surface in Gaildorf, but mistakes cost him a good result:
“I felt fast and strong on the bike, but unfortunately I ruined the weekend with some stupid mistakes. I’m sorry – and thank you to the team for the support.”
Pasquale di Monaco delivered a solid performance in the Junior class:
“It was a nice and warm weekend in Gaildorf. I qualified 13th – I’m improving in qualifying. In Race 1, I had a great start around P5, lost some ground but still finished 12th. In Race 2, my start wasn’t great and someone crashed in front of me in lap one, so I had to wait and came from P35 back to P16. I’m pretty satisfied. Thanks to the whole team for a great weekend – see you in Holzgerlingen!”
Marius Adomaitis faced a tough weekend with poor qualifying results but showed strong recovery in the races:
“Qualifying was rough, which made the races harder. In the first and third motos, I managed to charge into the top 20 from bad starts. The second moto was tough – I started last, made it up to 23rd, then crashed again and finished 28th. Thanks to the team – on to the next one!”
Team Summary
Team manager Alexander Karg offered a balanced but optimistic recap:
“Jordi was incredibly strong – it’s a shame the overall win slipped away by just one point. Overall, we saw the strengths of all our riders and also where we still need to improve. The team spirit was great – we’re staying focused for the upcoming rounds.”
The next round of the ADAC MX Masters will take place on August 30.-31 in Bitche France – the KMP Honda Racing Team is already looking forward to the next battle for podiums and championship points.
