Mixed weekend for KTM Kosak Racing
Last weekend, the ADAC MX Masters made its debut in Bitche, France. A demanding track and difficult starts turned the event into a real challenge for the KTM Kosak Racing Team riders.
MX Masters – Roan van de Moosdijk #39
Roan struggled with average starts in all three races. In race two, he was pushed to the back of the field after a start crash but fought his way back with an impressive charge up to 5th place. With results P5–P5–P3, Roan finished 4th overall. In the championship standings, he remains in 2nd place with 382 points, just behind Max Nagl (385).
MX Youngster Cup
Bradley Mesters #75 also faced a tough weekend. After finishing 20th and 15th in the first two motos, he bounced back with a strong 5th place in the final race. This earned him 13th overall. In the championship, Bradley remains 2nd with 272 points.
Valentin Kees #70 impressed with consistent results (6–7–8), finishing 5th overall. He currently holds 7th place in the championship with 224 points.
MX Junior Cup 85
Kash van Hammond started solidly with 9th in race one. In the second moto, however, he was disqualified after his loose exhaust—damaged in a start crash—was changed in the pits, which is not allowed. In race three he finished 28th, resulting in 18th overall.
Simon Hahn delivered a strong weekend with results of 14–14–7, securing 11th overall. In the championship standings, Simon sits in 8th place.
Despite the ups and downs for the individual riders, the KTM Kosak Racing Team once again proved its strength: in both the Team Classification and the Young Talents Team Classification, Kosak claimed victory, making them the most successful team of the weekend.
The big ADAC MX Masters finale is set for September 13–14 in Holzgerlingen, where the 2025 championship titles will be decided.
