Opening Round of the French Sand Championship – Berck-sur-Mer

This weekend marked the first round of the French Sand Championship (CFS), in the Beach Cross format: qualifying sessions, two 20-minute motos, and a 30-minute final.

  • Qualifying:
Lars secured a solid 6th place in his group. Max suffered a mechanical failure that prevented him from setting a time, forcing him to start at the back of the grid for the motos.
  • Moto 1:
Lars delivered a strong ride and finished 3rd.
Max fought his way up into the Top 15 despite starting from the back.
  • Moto 2:
Lars led the race for several laps and crossed the line in an excellent 2nd place.
Max was running 9th, but another mechanical issue forced him to retire from the rest of the program.
  • Final (Gold Race):
Lars took the holeshot and led the opening lap. He battled in the Top 5, but unfortunately had to retire with a mechanical problem while in 4th place.

It was a frustrating weekend mechanically, but our riders showed great speed and competitiveness.

We will keep working hard on the bikes to be ready and aim for the front at the next round in Loon-Plage.

A big thank you to all our partners – none of this would be possible without your support.
