The Quad Lock Honda Team heads into the final round of the FIM World Supercross Championship locked in a three-way battle for the premier 450 title. Joey Savatgy enters the decider tied on points with Jason Anderson, while teammate Christian Craig sits just one point behind, setting up a thrilling winner-takes-all showdown.
Savatgy delivered a strong and consistent performance in Sweden, securing his second SuperPole of the season and winning the opening final. He backed it up with two second-place finishes, earning second overall on the night and moving into equal first in the standings.
“I made too many mistakes, my riding was strong, but the small mistakes cost me. It all comes down to the final round between the three of us. We’re so close, we’ve got nothing to lose. Fourth can’t catch us, so it’s time to let it all hang out,” said Savatgy.

Craig also had a competitive night, finishing third overall with results of 3-4-3. A crash in race two forced him to charge from last to fourth, slightly denting his points total, but he remains very much in the championship hunt.
“I made too many mistakes, and the crash in race two hurt my overall. I’m just glad I got through clean, this was a track where you could end up on your head easily. Now the focus is on the finale,” said Craig.
In the 250 class, Shane McElrath continued his run of podium form with 2-6-2 finishes for third overall. He now moves within three points of second place in the championship.
“My riding was okay, but my starts were horrible. I’m happy I was able to make quick passes in the first two corners in races one and three. We made up great points this weekend. Max is out of reach, but we’re pushing hard for second,” McElrath explained.
Teammate Alex Larwood made his World Supercross debut, finishing 10-7-7 for equal eighth overall. Competing in his first international pro event, he showed maturity and composure on a demanding circuit.
“The track was rough and the ruts were deep. My goal was to be consistent, minimise mistakes, and get through safely. I wanted a top ten and we achieved that,” said Larwood.
Quad Lock Honda also extended its lead in the Team Championship. Team Director Yarrive Konsky was pleased with the team’s execution and resilience.
“It’s going down to the wire, one point separating three riders. Overall it was a positive weekend. We claimed three podiums, extended our teams’ championship lead, and we’re heading into the final round fighting for titles,” said Konsky.
