Tyla van de Poel, riding for the De Baets MX team, came close to securing a top ten finish at the Dutch Championship 250 round in Boekel.
The day didn’t start as planned for Tyla. During the time practice, he struggled to find enough space to put in a strong lap and ended up with the 22nd fastest time.
After a poor start in the first moto, he quickly fought his way up to 16th place. However, a crash interrupted his progress, costing him a position. He regrouped well and managed to finish the race in 14th place.
In the second moto, Tyla got off to a strong start and immediately found a good rhythm. He rode a consistent race and crossed the finish line in 11th place.
Tyla van de Poel commented: “I felt good on the bike and I’m happy with my second race back!”
