Max Anstie’s Repeat Triumph: Firepower Honda’s Privateer Honda CRF250R Outshines Factory Competition Once More!

Once again, the Firepower Honda team demonstrates the superiority of Honda’s CRF250R as the top choice for privateers, clinching their second main event victory in as many years. Despite a challenging season, Max Anstie’s undeniable speed has been a constant. With the team and Max qualifying first in 50% of the rounds, securing two heat race wins, and leading the championship, their dominance was reaffirmed this weekend in Philadelphia with another main event triumph.

Max executed a flawless and strategic race, opting to start on the outside of the starting box with confidence. Remaining patient while riding in second for half of the race, he waited for the opportune moment to make his move. Once Max surged to the front, he showcased championship-level performance, ultimately securing victory in Philadelphia.

Reflecting on his win, Anstie credited the collective effort of the team, MTF, and everyone supporting him. He emphasized the exceptional performance of the Honda 250 and the stellar chassis provided by Factory Connection, underscoring their unwavering dedication to success.

“It’s an incredible night for me, my team, our sponsors, and especially my dad. The bike is amazing, and I’m truly grateful to Factory Connection for their support, we have the best chassis. We’ve transformed this bike from a production-based Honda 250, and I hope our results inspire other privateers. Tonight was truly unforgettable,” expressed Anstie

With only 5 points separating 3rd to 6th place in the championship standings, the race for third overall is intensifying. Anstie and the team remain focused on finishing strong, with Team Principal Martin Davalos expressing gratitude for the team’s achievements and determination to secure another podium finish.

“This is a fantastic achievement for our team. Everyone puts in tremendous effort, our sponsors are phenomenal, and our staff members are incredibly selfless. Max delivered a flawless performance, and our program is unified in its dedication. Dean’s comeback has been impressive, and we’re thrilled with his results,” Davalos remarked.

Dean Wilson showcased remarkable determination, racing within the top 10 until the final lap despite returning from a shoulder injury. His resilience highlights his ability to compete alongside the Factory riders.

The next round of Supercross is this coming weekend in Denver.
